The top-ranked LSU Tigers are back in action on Thursday, playing host to the second-ranked Texas A&M Aggies in the opening game of a three-game SEC series at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The series marks the seventh conference series of the year for both squads.

Winners of 12 of their last 14, LSU is currently 35-6, overall, and 12-5 in SEC play, good enough for a first-place tie with Texas A&M, who is currently 36-5, overall, and 12-5 in league play.
