Top 10 Pranks In College Sports History

Nearly 100 years ago, Texas A&M students branded Bevo, the orange-tinted longhorn and live mascot for the University of Texas. The branding read “13-0.” That was score of the previous season’s game when A&M beat the Longhorns. But wait, it doesn’t end there. Four years later, in 1920, Bevo was then barbequed (keeping Bevo in wartime was too expensive) by Texas officials for a banquet with the Aggies, and the “13-0″ hide was served to the Aggie football team. Honestly, you can’t make this stuff up.

That is one of ten pranks to make USA Today’s list of the 10 best pranks in college sports history.
