Tony Romo Has Broken Bone In Back, To Miss 6-10 Weeks
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo could miss 6 to 10 weeks after an MRI revealed he broke a bone/vertebrae in his back Thursday, the team announced today.
Romo injured his back after sliding awkwardly in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks.
He's missed time in the past due to injury, including last season when he missed 12 games due to a clavicle injury.
Rookie 4th round pick Dak Prescott out of Mississippi State, who has performed well in preseason action, will take over starter duties.
