Ragin' Cajun Baseball is on a six game win streak, so Tony Robichaux had an upbeat press conference to recap a series sweep of UT-Arlington and look forward.

A trip to Boone, North Carolina, awaits Robichaux's team, who are carrying a ton of momentum. Since Stefan Trosclair's introduction to full-time duty at second base, the Cajuns flipped the switch on the defensive side, which Robichaux discusses at length. Pitching and defense wins championships, but in classic coach speak fashion, Robichaux assured that they will still take things one game at a time.

Speaking of going one game at a time, Robichaux said they liked the way the pitching decisions worked out in last week's midweek outings and would consider going the same way against Nicholls State. Specifically, Eric Carter's name came up in terms of arms that could take the mound for a midweek start. The rest will go by rotation and how Robichaux feels in the moment.

Kyle Clement's hot week at the dish earned him a spot on the Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week list, and his coach identified his performance in his press conference as well.

On top of the nuts and bolts, Coach Robichaux always drops some knowledge and a few good stories. Sit back and enjoy. You will probably learn something. It's hard not to.
