Ragin' Cajun Baseball Head Coach Tony Robichaux met with the media to break down a series win at Texas State and to preview Southeastern Louisiana.

The Cajuns are set to take on the Lions in a midweek game in Hammond, and the men in vermilion and white would love to give Southeastern a little payback for what happened in their last midweek game. A late mistake and a double-play that wasn't turned led to the Cajuns' downfall last time out. Robichaux will try to make sure his troops don't walk down that same path.

A trip to San Marcos proved to be successful, as the Cajuns bookended the series on the road with victories. Robichaux said he was proud his team bounced back after dropping the second game of the Saturday double-header. They didn't just bounce back, they did so with force. It's not every day you cap off a conference series with a mercy rule victory. Momentum is on their side.

In the press conference, Robichaux also fielded questions about his talented freshman pitching staff and gave a very solid endorsement for Stefan Trosclair, who he gave single-name credit to for the change in the Cajuns' second half of the season.

"We were worried about him getting drafted last year," Robichaux said. "That's a man."

The nuts of bolts of the press conference read as this: Wyatt Marks earned his way into the Sunday starter role with Greg Milhorn still sidelined with a groin injury, the weekend rotation will stay the same (Leger, Guillory, Marks) until there is any change in Milhorn's health, and Kyle Clement and Trosclair are swinging very hot bats.

Also, Ragin' Cajun Softball Head Coach Michael Lotief was in the room again, which made everybody smile.
