Ragin' Cajun Baseball Head Coach Tony Robichaux spoke at length about facing the LSU Tigers in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.

Coach Robe always has a way with words, and he wasn't lacking for answers as his team makes their way down I-10 to take on one of the best teams in the country. He touched on the mental progress of his freshmen pitchers all throughout the season leading up to this point, the senior leadership that got them there and the unselfish nature this squad plays with.

Among many topics, Robichaux analyzed the success over the weekend claiming the Houston Regional, specifically the gut checks they went through, the scouting report for LSU and the importance to zone out all the peripheral in Alex Box Stadium.

Ragin' Cajun Baseball is in a Super Regional for the second consecutive year, despite losing six regular starters to the pros and a couple assistant coaches. Some folks would call this postseason run lagniappe, but Robichaux's group of water hose drinking grinders would love to keep making noise where nobody expected them to be.
