The top ranked LSU Tigers are 10-0 for the first time since 1958 after defeating Western Kentucky by the score of 42-9. Jordan Jefferson got his first start of the season, finishing with 1 touchdown on 8-14 passing. Jarrett Lee saw some playing time late, finishing with a touchdown pass of his own.

LSU did a great job on the ground as well, rushing for 291 yards. Alfred Blue (pictured left) led all rushers with 119 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Tiger defense held WKU to 86 total yards in the second half. LSU linebacker Tahj Jones reeled in the lone interception of the night.

The win was Les Miles' 100th as a head coach.
