The LSU Tiger men's basketball team is back in action on Saturday afternoon, as coach Trent Johnson's squad plays host to the Ole Miss Rebels, in the SEC opener for both teams.

Ole Miss defeated SMU, 50-48, on Tuesday, but the Rebels lost three consecutive games prior to the victory over the Mustangs, and come into the match-up with an overall record of 10-4.

LSU had their seven-game win streak snapped last Monday, when they fell to the Virginia Cavaliers, 57-52, as they dropped to 10-4 on the season.

Dundrecous Nelson leas the Rebels in scoring, averaging 11.6 points per games, while Justin Hamilton paces the Tigers, at 12.3 ppg.
