The LSU Tigers got back on the winnng-track on Wednesday, downing the Alcorn St. Braves, 7-1, in non-conference action, at Alex Box Stadium, in Baton Rouge. Jesse Delerno, of lsusports.net, has the story, below.

LSU catcher Ty Ross delivered three RBI, and the pitching staff held Alcorn State (12-20) to only one run off three hits as the 21st-ranked Tigers surged past the Braves, 7-1, Wednesday night in Alex Box Stadium.

The Tigers (22-12, 3-9 SEC) return to Southeastern Conference play this weekend when they host Auburn. Game 1 begins Friday at 7 p.m. CDT in Alex Box Stadium.
