LSU senior Ben Alsup fired eight strong innings, and centerfielder Mikie Mahtook and second baseman JaCoby Jones each delivered two hits and two RBI to lead the 16th-ranked Tigers (20-8, 3-6 SEC) to an 8-2 victory over Ole Miss in the rubber match Sunday at Alex Box Stadium.
