Alabama shutout LSU in Game 3 of their SEC series Sunday by the score of 9-0. With the win, the Tide take the series, their first one over the Tigers since 2005. Here is more from Bill Martin of LSUsports.net.

LSU (30-19, 8-16 SEC) went the final 22 innings of the series without a run. The Tigers posted a four-run fifth inning on Friday night and went scoreless the remainder of the weekend thanks to two impressive pitching outings by Alabama, who improved to 30-20 overall and 12-12 in conference play.
