Two teams combined to shoot 70 three point shots.  A team scores 19 points in the first half and 18 in a five minute overtime.

UL MONROE 99, UT ARLINGTON 88--The Mavericks shot 40 three pointers in Thursday's game and made 15.  The Warhawks also made 15 in 30 attempts as ULM got the win at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.  Majok Deng scored 29 points and Justin Roberson had 24.  The two combined to shoot 11-16 from beyond the arc.  Nick Coppola had a double double with twelve points and eleven assists.  Erick Neal had a triple double for UTA with 27 points, ten rebounds and twelve assists.

ARKANSAS STATE 75, GEORGIA STATE 69 (OT)--The Red Wolves were held to 19 first half points but shifted into high gear in the overtime period, outscoring the visiting Panthers 18-12.  Anthony Livingston had 22 points and twelve rebounds with six of those points coming in overtime.  Charles Waters also had a double double with 13 points and ten boards for Arkansas State, who trailed by as many as nine points in the second half.

LITTLE ROCK 80, GEORGIA SOUTHERN 67-- The league leaders opened up a double digit halftime lead and were never really threatened as they ran their record to 18-2.  Marcus Johnson, Jr. hit seven three point baskets en route to a 24 point performance.  Johnson, Jr. was 8-13 shooting on the night.  Tookie Brown and Mike Hughes combined for 35 points for the Eagles.

LOUISIANA 80, TEXAS STATE 54--Shawn Long got his 65th career double double and moved into fifth place on the Sun Belt all-time scoring list in the Cajuns' win.  Devanta Walker and Jay Wright combined for 30 points to help the cause.  The Cajuns' defense held Emani Gant and Ethan Montalvo to a combined eight points.  Ojai Black led the Bobcats with 14 points.  It was the Cajuns' fifth straight win and Louisiana is now 6-0 against Texas State since the Bobcats joined the league.

APPALACHIAN STATE 75, TROY 71--The Mountaineers were the only road team to win in the league, as Frank Eaves scored 18 points to lead App State to the win.  Troy had battled back to tie the game late, but Eaves scored on a three point play with 1:37 to go to give App the lead for good.  Wesley Person had 22 and Jordan Varnado had a double double for the Trojans.

South Alabama had the night off.
