Three UL Softball Players Named All-Region

UL softball players Gabrielle Bridges, Christi Orgeron, and Ashley Brignac were all honored on Thursday, being named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division 1 All-Region team. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

Three members of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team were named to the 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I All-Region team as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Wednesday. A total of 256 players from 116 different institutions comprise this season's regional teams, including first and second teams for each region.

Senior Gabriele Bridges and junior Christi Orgeron were named First Team All-Central Region while junior Ashley Brignac Picked up second team honors.
