Three Thursday night games involving Acadiana area schools kickoff the third week of the 2016 high school football schedule.

The three games are listed below:

Delcambre at Ascension Episcopal:

Delcambre is 1-1, while Ascension Episcopal, the third-ranked team in this week's Class A poll, is still unbeaten, at 2-0. Delcambre, a 2A school defeated Hanson, 38-28, last week, while Ascension Episcopal downed Catholic (Point Coupee), 35-12. Westminster at Dunham:

Westminster, out of District 5-1A, rebounded from a 20-14 setback to Covenant Christian in their season opener to defeat Merryville, 35-6, last week, while Dunham, representing District 6-2A, has outscored their opponents, 90-28, so far, en route to a 2-0 record.

Franklin at Jeanerette:

This will be the home opener for Jeanerette, a Class 2A school, who beat Highland Baptist last week, 26-6, after dropping their opener to St. Martinville, 40-8, while Franklin, from the Class 3A ranks, is still looking for their first win of the year, following back-to-back losses to Loreauville (26-18) and Walker (44-0).
