South Alabama is still in first place in the Sun Belt Conference.

But the lead is down to one game.

Troy defeated Florida International Sunday to complete a three game sweep of the Panthers and move within one game of the Jaguars, who lost to Middle Tennessee Sunday 6-5.

Meanwhile, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are two games out of first place after sweeping Arkansas State.  They have a two game lead on FAU and Western Kentucky.  The Owls lost their series to UALR by falling 10-5 on Sunday, while WKU moved into a tie for fourth by defeating Louisiana-Monroe and winning their series.

Next weekend is the big showdown at M. L. "TIgue":Moore Field between Louisiana and longtime rival South Alabama.  Arkansas State is at Troy, FIU is at UALR, FAU is at Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee hosts ULM.
