Beginning Monday, November 4th, a new voice is coming to ESPN1420 mid days, as the Paul Finebaum show joins our airwaves.

Finebaum is a critically acclaimed sports writer, television broadcaster, and perhaps above all others, an entertaining radio personality. A winner of more than 250 sports writing awards, his distinct style and unique look at sports, makes him a perfect fit on ESPN1420.

"I'm thrilled to branch into the Lafayette market, where there are plenty of passionate sports fans," says Finebaum.

The Paul Finebaum show will be split across two seperate Townsquare Media entities. It will air weekdays from 1-3 on ESPN1420, and ESPN1420.com. From 3-5, the show can be heard on TalkRadio 960, and TalkRadio960.com.

The addition of Finebaum will push back Birds Eye View with Jay Walker by one hour. The longest running sports talk show in Acadiana will continue, airing at 3:00 each weekday.

From 4-5, Jay will be joined by Scott Prather, host of the Great S.C.O.T.T. show. Prather co-hosted Birds Eye View with Walker for more than half a decade. Both are looking forward to teaming up once again.

Scott will continue the Great S.C.O.T.T. show from 5-6 everyday, with a new local show airing from 6-7, hosted by Brandon Comeaux.

"Brandon is a terrific talent who brings a ton of sports knowledge and conversation to our airwaves," says Prather, brand manager/program director at ESPN1420 KPEL-AM. "His pulse of the local sports scene, from the high school to the professional level, makes him the perfect choice when adding another local sports talk show."
