The New Orleans Saints had their eight game winning streak snapped on Sunday with a 26-20 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams. As a result they were bumped from their previous rank of fifth to sixth this week in the latest NFL Power Rankings. The Rams boosted from the sixth spot all the way to third this week.

The top five looks like this:

  1. Philadelphia Eagles
  2. New England Patroits
  3. Los Angeles Rams
  4. Pittsburgh Steelers
  5. Minnesota Vikings

The game was played out in LA and the Saints were without their top two corner backs (Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley. With that said, they did have opportunity to win this game but they couldn't convert on 3rd down with the consistency we've been used to seeing in years past and the Rams did what they needed to do.

Drew Brees also looked a little bit off in this one, he was lucky a couple of his off-target passes weren't intercepted.

On the positive side of things, Alvin Kamara looked as explosive, elusive, and dynamic as we've seen him all season long.

Coming up this week for the Saints they'll be at home to welcome the Carolina Panthers into the Dome at 3:25pm CT.
