The Acadiana Cane Cutters have lost in the best of three championship series to the Victoria Generals in game three Saturday night 7-4. After the team secured game one at home, the Generals held home field advantage by winning games two and three.

The Cane Cutters got out to a hot start in this best of three championship game number three by plating one run in each of the first four of five innings, the only inning they didn't score in was the second.

In the first inning they got a lead-off double from Mason Corbett who would later come around to score on a fielders choice off the bat of Cole Secrest. 1-0 Cutters

In the third inning it was a couple hits by Mason Corbett and Rhett McCall and with two outs they got a big hit by Nathan Gabryszwski to score another run. 2-0 Cutters.

Heading to the fourth inning Acadiana got off to a quick start when Chandler Morris ripped a triple and was swiftly brought home by the next batter Kyle Bayles with an RBI single. 3-0 Cutters.

In the fifth it was a quick strike by first baseman Nathan Gabryszwski as he launched a solo home run. 4-0 Acadiana.

However, after that it would be all Victoria as the Generals would throw up seven runs on the board in the next three innings to win the game 7-4 and claim the title.
