With today's deadline for the Texas Rangers to sign Yu Darvish looming, the American League champions got a deal done with the young Japanese pitcher. Darvish reportedly signed a 6 year $60 million deal with Texas. This, coupled with the $51.7 million posting bid to negotiate for Darvish's rights, means the Rangers spent more than $111 million on Darvish.

Is he worth it? Rangers GM Jon Daniels and CEO Nolan Ryan definitely think so.
