Tebow Traded to Jets

The New York Jets have acquired quarterback Tim Tebow from the Denver Broncos in exchange for two draft picks.

The Broncos will receive the Jets' fourth round and sixth round picks in the 2012 draft.

Tebow became expendable when the Broncos signed former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.

Tebow has three years remaining on his original contract.  He is slated to make $1.1 million this season.
