This is video of a rather scary situation that developed during a Frontier League baseball game between the Joliet Slammers and the Southern Illinois Miners on Friday night.

A severe thunderstorm went through the Joliet, Illinois, and caused havoc at Silver Cross Field prior to the seventh inning of play.

The grounds crew put down the tarp, but rain and hurricane strength gusts forced it right off the field, despite the crew loading it with heavy sandbags as well.
