Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic both won their semifinal matches at Wimbledon in 4 sets. Much to the dismay of the local British fans, Nadal eliminated Andy Murray 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-4. Federer Upset in Wimbledon Quarters

Roger Federer has won Wimbledon six times.

He will not get championship #7 this year.

For the second straight year, Federer was upset in the quarterfinal round today, squandering a two-set advantage to Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in five sets.

Tsonga will now face second seed Novak Djokovic, who won today in four sets.

Serena, Venus Ousted at Wimbledon, Top-Seed Wozniacki Also Beaten

Serena Williams' run at Wimbledon has ended in the round of 16.  The same holds true for her sister, Venus.

Serena, the defending champion, trying to battle back from injuries, fell to Marion Bartoli in straight sets.  According to the article on espn.com, it's the earliest exit from Wimbledon for Williams since losing in the third round in 2005.

Venus, a five time Wimbledon champion, was beaten by Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria in straight sets.
