University of Connecticut women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma earned his 900th career win on Tuesday night, as second-ranked UConn crushed Cincinnati, 96-36.

Back in 2012, the longest winning streak in collegiate sports history came to an end when Trinity College lost a squash match to Yale. It was a pretty impressive record with 252 consecutive wins dating back to 1998. That got us thinking about some of the other most impressive streaks that have been broken.
