Cardinals Win Thriller, Force Game 7
The 2011 MLB World Series has had plenty of theatrics. Game 6 in St. Louis will go down in the history books. The Cardinals were down to their last strike twice Thursday night, only to win in 11 innings. David Freese hit the game-winning walk-off homerun to propel the Cardinals to a 10-9 victory over the Texas Rangers, forcing a decisive Game 7.

Rangers Win Game 5, Lead Series 3-2
The Texas Rangers are one win away from their first MLB World Series championship after winning Game 5 over the St. Louis Cardinals Monday night by the score of 4-2. Rangers catcher Mike Napoli had the hit of the game (pictured left) when he lined a tiebreaking two-run double in the eighth inning. One inning later he made the defensive play of the game throwing out a would-be stealer as Albert Pujols struck out.
Rangers Even World Series, Blank Cardinals, 4-0
The Texas Rangers won game four of the Major League Baseball World Series, defeating the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-0 on Sunday night.
Derek Holland threw 8.1 innings of shutout baseball for the Rangers, while Mike Napoli provided the offensive firepower, with a three-run homer in the sixth inning.
The win by Texas evens-up the best-of-seven game series at two games apiece.
Game five is scheduled for Monday night, in Arlington, Texas.

Cardinals Win Game 1 Over Rangers 3-2
The St. Louis Cardinals won Game 1 of the World Series Wednesday night with an exciting 3-2 victory over the Texas Rangers. The play of the game came on a go-ahead pinch-hit single by Allen Craig in the bottom of the 6th. As they've done all postseason, the Cardinals bullpen was called on and delievered in glorious fashion.
