The widow of former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith has accepted his degree from the University of Miami nearly a month after he was shot and killed in a road rage incident in New Orleans.

New Orleans Saint Will Smith was arrested for domestic abuse and simple battery in downtown Lafayette on November 27th, 2011. He was booked on misdemeanor charges. District Attorney Mike Harson reportedly will aim to have a grand jury decide whether charges should be filed against the Pro Bowl Defensive End.
