Chris Paul Named All-Star Starter
Chris Paul was named to his fourth straight NBA all-star team Thursday. It is the second time he has been voted by the fans as a starter. Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming, Kevin Durant, and Carmelo Anthony were named as the other Western Conferencer starters. Eastern conference all-star starters are Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, and Amar'e Stoudemire.
Okafor Longs For Post-Season
Emeka Okafor is enjoying a solid season for the New Orleans Hornets. One of only eight players averaging a double-double, Okafor has an outiside chance of making his first all-star game. If it is up to Emeka, he would prefer to play in his first playoff game. He was asked about his preference by Times Picayune journalist Jimmy Smith.
