The 3 seeded Lafayette Christian Academy Knights and the 4 seeded Midland High School Rebels are the two remaining Acadiana area high school basketball teams remaining in the LHSAA boys basketball playoffs as each team advanced to the quarterfinal round with 14-point victories on Tuesday night

The Midland Rebels were victorious in their Class B semifinal match-up on Wednesday, while the St. Thomas More Cougars and the Lafayette Christian Knights lost their in respective classes, during play in the Boys' Top 28 at Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles.

The four Acadiana area teams remaining in the 2014 LHSAA boys' state basketball playoff bracket, vying for state championships, will take part in semi-final action this week in the Top 28 at Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles.
