January 19, 2012 The New Orleans Hornets went into Wednesday night's matchup with the intent to protect the basketball. It simply didn't happen they turned it over 18 times on their way to an 93-87 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. The loss negated two outstanding performances by Jarrett Jack and Trevor Ariza.
January 14, 2012 The New Orleans Hornets trailed by 17 in the 4th quarter at Memphis before storming back to cut it to 2. It was a small lineup consisting mostly of Hornet reserves that spurred the comeback, but they couldn't complete it. In the end, the Grizzlies handed the Hornets their 3rd straight loss.

May 15, 2011 Oklahoma City was rocking as the home crowd watched their Thunder defeat the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 7 by the score of 105-90. Kevin Durant scored 39 points, while Russell Westbrook had his first playoff triple-double. It was Westbrook's finest moment as a pro. May 14, 2011 The Grizzlies flexed their muscles in Memphis last night on their way to an impressive 95-83 victory in Game 6 to tie the series at 3-3. Now the Grizzlies and Thunder will play the first Game 7 of this postseason Sunday afternoon in Oklahoma City. Memphis head coach Lionel Hollins made a key change to his starting lineup that proved to pay dividends.

May 4, 2011 Facing the prospect of going down 0-2 to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Oklahoma City Thunder got a big 111-102 win Tuesday night to even the best-of-seven series at a game a piece. It was a must win for the Thunder as the series now shifts to the birthplace of Rock 'n Roll for Games 3 and 4.

April 12, 2011 Playing in front of a pathetic crowd of 12,558, the Hornets lost their regular season home finale on Monday night, falling to the Jazz 90-78. New Orleans shot a putrid 37.8% from the field. The Hornets (46-35) now hold the eighth seed in the Western Conference, a half game behind Memphis (46-34) and 1 1/2 games behind Portland (46-33).
