The top ranked LSU Tigers continued their dominance, pummeling the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville today by the score of 38-7. Jarrett Lee was 10 of 14 for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jordan Jefferson ran for one score, and finished with 73 yards on the ground. Running back Spencer Ware scored twice, and finished with 93 all purpose yards. With the win, LSU improves to 7-0, and 4-0 in SEC play.
Nothing much shaking at the top this week. In fact, my top ten stayed exactly the same as last week. The top teams won impressively. LSU, my number one team, beat Florida by 30 and that was the smallest margin of victory among the top three teams on my ballot.

LSU head coach Les Miles is garnering interest from several NFL teams. While there are no coaching vacancies in the NFL at this time, and with Miles happy at LSU, some might dismiss the rumored interest that several NFL executive want Miles. However, league executives continue to drop Miles' name when asked about future coaching candidates.
LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson was suspended indefinitely last week after he was arrested for his role in fight outside a bar. Jefferson's lawyer, Lewis Unglesby, says he will ask Tiger head coach Les Miles to think about lifting Jefferson's suspension while his client goes through the legal process.
Charges have been filed in the case of four LSU football players accused of taking part in a bar fight last Friday, this according to the Baton Rouge police department. Warrants have not been issued for any arrests, as the investigation is still on-going. Starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson, offensive tackle Chris Davenport, linebacker Josh Johns and wide receiver Jarvis Landry, are the 4 Tigers that have been asked to meet with police.
ESPN's "Outside The Lines" had a story on LSU's purchase of recruiting videos from infamous talent scount Will Lyles. The investigation by OTL found the videos of some recruits that were outdated, containing highlights of players already playing Division I football somewhere other than LSU.
