There are a number of interesting match-ups in week four of the college football season.

Of course, Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns open Sun Belt Conference play, against FIU, and #2 LSU is on the road, to take on West Virginia, in a match-up of two unbeatens.

But there's also some crucial games elsewhere around the country, including  Alabama/Arkansas, Texas A&M/Oklahoma St., and Clemson/ Florida.

College Football Week Three Predictions

On Thursday, the third-ranked LSU Tigers open up their SEC schedule, taking on the 25th-ranked Mississippi St. Bulldogs, in Starkville, Mississippi.

On Saturday, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns host the Nicholls St. Colonels, in the Cajuns' home opener, at Cajun Field.

Also on Saturday, there's the big national match-up, featuring top-ranked Oklahoma, and #5 Florida St.

While many of this weekend’s games were just tune-ups for showdowns to come, there were several great battles to keep things exciting, including Michigan’s last-second win over Notre Dame, South Carolina’s shootout victory over Georgia and Auburn stuffing Mississippi State at the goal line to win their 17th straight game.

Second-ranked LSU plays host to the Northwestern St. Demons on Saturday evening, in the 20i1 home opener for the Tigers.

Both teams will come in with identical 1-0 records.
