John Wall and the Washington Wizards earned their 10th win of the season last night after defeating the New Orleans Hornets 99-89. Wall finished with 26 points and 12 assists. Chris Kaman led the Hornets in scoring with 20.
The NBA is in the early stages of a lockout which is sure to get nasty before all is said and done. Until that time, let's ponder some fun basketball questions. Many people's favorite is, "Who is the best point guard in the NBA?"
I think it's safe to say John Wall won't be leaving the NBA to pursue a professional baseball career. After throwing out the first pitch of the Washington Nationals game on Friday, Wall made Jay Walker look like Sandy Koufax. Check out the video of the awkward pitch.
Hornets win at the Hive Tuesday night 97-89 versus the Wizards. Power Forward Jason Smith started at Center for New Orleans in replacement of the injured Emeka Okafor. Smith was solid, scoring a career high 20 points in 25 minutes of play.
For a team that has struggled on the road, the Hornets ended 2010 and began 2011 with road wins. Hopefully it continues. Tonight, New Orleans beat the Washington Wizards 92-81, behind Trevor Ariza's best game in a Hornet uniform.
