Week 14 College Football Predictions

Well, the MAC Championship, as well as the Pac-12 Championship are in the bag, but four conferences will decide their league champions today, as the 2011 college football season enters its 14th week.

The top-ranked LSU Tigers take on the 12th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs for the SEC title.

In the ACC championship, #20 Clemson squares off with #5 Virginia Tech.

#9 Michigan St. faces #10 Wisconsin for the Big Ten tile.

The Conference-USA crown will also be on the line today, as #6 Houston tries to stay unbeaten against #24 Southern Miss.

Who's going to win these game, as well as the big Oklahoma/Oklahoma St. match-up?

We've seen a number of college football bowl projections, but not actual game predictions of the schools involved, including the scores.

That is, until now.

Now, we know that Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will play in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, scheduled for Saturday, December 17. But who will UL play? And will they win?

What about LSU?

Are the Tigers headed for a rematch with Alabama in the BCS title game? And who will walk away with the BCS championship trophy?

2011 NCAA College Football – Week 14 Preview

As we enter the final week of college football’s regular season, we already have a good idea of what the national championship game will look like. Barring a colossal upset in the SEC title game and a whole lot of poll voters changing their minds and moving Oklahoma State up, LSU and Alabama will play a rematch of their earlier overtime game in the BCS National Championship. Urban Meyer Gets Millions to Come Out of Hibernation and Coach Ohio State

Urban Meyer has been hired as the head coach of the Ohio State football program, the AP reports. Multiple sources have estimated that Meyer, who won two national championships while coaching the University of Florida, will sign a multi-year contract paying him $6 million per year. Meyer, an Ohio native, will be formally announced at a news conference at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.

With 13 weeks of the college football season complete, the bowl picture is becoming a lot clearer.

For instance, we know that Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are headed to a bowl game for the first time in 41 years.

As college football’s regular season nears its end, the postseason picture is starting to take shape. Barring a major shakeup in the polls, Alabama punched its ticket to the national title game. The only thing that remains to be seen is if they’ll have another shot at top-ranked LSU. Next week’s conference championship games could shake up the BCS, while the Bedlam rivalry between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will determine the Big 12 title and a spot in the Fiesta Bowl. LSU/Alabama Stay 1-2 In BCS Rankings

LSU and Alabama still look destined for a rematch in the BCS title game.

LSU remains No. 1 in the BCS standings, after defeating Arkansas last Friday, 41-17, to clinch the Tigers a spot in this year's SEC Championship Game.

The Tigers will play Georgia for the SEC title this Saturday.

Alabama stays in the number two spot in the BCS standings, after a convincing 42-14 win over Auburn, last Saturday, in their regular season finale.

Oklahoma State replaced Arkansas at number three, while number four Stanford moved up to pass number five Virginia Tech.

Unbeaten Houston jumped two spots to number six, passing number seven Boise State, and number eight Arkansas.

Number nine Oregon and number ten Oklahoma round out the top ten.

The Top College Football Players Of 2012

We haven't yet completed the 2011 college football season, but let's look ahead toward 2012.

Who will be the top players next year?

LSU has defensive Sam Montgomery, and defensive back Tyrann Mathieu that will be ranked highly by experts.

Baylor's Robert Griffin III, USC's Matt Barkley, and Michigan's Denard Robinson all are eligible return at the quarterback position.

Some great running back are all expected to come back in 2012, including Montee Ball, of Wisconsin, and Marcus Lattimore, of South Carolina.

At receiver, USC's Robert Woods will be back, along with Sammy Watkins, of Clemson.
