The New Orleans Hornets have made a three team trade that will send All-NBA point guard Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Houston Rockets would receive All-Star power forward Pau Gasol. The Hornets will receive Lamar Odom from the Lakers, PF Luis Scola, SG Kevin Martin, and PG Goran Dragic from the Rockets, and a draft pick.

However, the Times-Picayune is reporting, through two NBA sources, that Paul has not requested a trade to the Knicks. Paul met with the media today, saying, "My heart is in New Orleans."
