December 11, 2011 Many in the sports world would agree that the hardest job in sports right now belongs to New Orleans Hornets GM Dell Demps. Perhaps Hornets head coach Monty Williams would be second on that list. Entering Day 5 of training camp, the Hornets have 5 players under contract. One of them is Chris Paul, whose trade uncertainty has become a major distraction.
December 8, 2011 A group of owners have protested the league-owned Hornets trade of Chris Paul to the Lakers. The trade now appears to be in peril. Paul is appealing via the union, and could sue the league as soon as possible. Hornets General Manager Dell Demps is absolutely livid that the league is trying to step in and nix the deal. He reportedly was on the verge of resigning, but was talked out of it. Can you blame him?
