October 9, 2011 The New Orleans Saints ran their win streak to four games on Sunday, defeating the Carolina Panthers, 30-27.
Drew Brees hit Pierre Thomas with a six-yard touchdown pass with :50 remaining, to lift the Saints to the win.
Brees led the Saints, completing 32 of 45 passes, for 359 yards, and two touchdowns.
With the win, the Saints improved to 4-1, while the Panthers dropped to 1-4.
October 9, 2011 The New Orleans Saints will put their current three-game win streak on the line, on Sunday, when they travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, to take on the Carolin Panthers, in an NFC Southern Division match-up.
The Saints are 3-1 on the year, while the Panthers stand at 1-3.
Kick-off time is scheduled for noon.

August 30, 2011 Former New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey has already paid big dividends to his new team, the Carolina Panthers, and more specifically, his teammate, Ben Hartsock.
Hartsock was apparently choking on a piece of meat on Monday, when a teammate rushed to him and performed the Heimlich Maneuver, but that didn't work.
It was then that Shockey decided to take matters into his own hands.
July 30, 2011 The number one pick in the NFL draft is in the fold.
Auburn's Cam Newton agreed to a four year deal with the Carolina Panthers and the result of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement is evident in the signing.
Last year's #1 pick, Sam Bradford of the Rams, got a contract guaranteeing him 50 million dollars.
Newton didn't get half that.
