UL softball players Gabrielle Bridges, Christi Orgeron, and Ashley Brignac were all honored on Thursday, being named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division 1 All-Region team. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

Louisian's Ragin' Cajun softball team ended their regular season today with a 5-0 win over the ULM Warhawks. The Cajuns finish the season with a 45-9 record, and end the season on a 7 game winning streak.

For the second time this season, Ragin' Cajun softballers Ashley Brignac and Gabriele Bridges swept the weekly Sun Belt Conference awards. Brignac took home SBC pitcher of the week honors, while Bridges captured the SBC hitter of the week award. Both players took home the same honors after week 1.
