The former New York Knicks head coach and GM receives credit for helping get Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire to the Big Apple, even though he wasn't with the Knicks at the time. Hornets Continue Downward Spiral

Something has to be wrong with Chris Paul's knee. All the best players go through slumps, but this is beyond a slump. A slump would be welcome compared to this. To be outplayed by Kyle Lowry, Jose Calderon, and Toney Douglas in 4 days does not happen to one of the best players in the world, not even on a bad night. With Paul's play suffering, the Hornets continue to fall apart, losing again on Wednesday night in NY 107-88.

Chris Paul was named to his fourth straight NBA all-star team Thursday. It is the second time he has been voted by the fans as a starter. Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming, Kevin Durant, and Carmelo Anthony were named as the other Western Conferencer starters. Eastern conference all-star starters are Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, and Amar'e Stoudemire.
