Another win for Louisiana, and more honors from the Sun Belt Conference.

Linebacker Devon Lewis-Buchanan has been named the Defensive Player of the Week and kicker Brett Baer has been honored as Special Teams Player of the Week after their performances against Louisiana-Monroe.

Lewis-Buchanan had a career-high 12 tackles, 11 solo in the Cajuns' comeback win.  Three of those tackles were behind the line of scrimmage.

Baer had the successful onsides kick which set up Lousiana's winning touchdown and also kicked his fifth field goal of 40 yards or more this season in the victory.

Louisiana tries to clinch a share of the Sun Belt championship this Saturday when they travel to Arkansas State.  ASU quarterback Ryan Aplin won the Offensive Player award this week after rushing for four touchdowns and passing for another in the Red Wolves' win over Florida Atlantic.
