Ten big Sun Belt Conference women’s games are on tap this week, as the league will feature five games on Thursday, and five more on Saturday.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns continues a tough four-game road trip on Thursday, when they travel to Statesboro. Georgia, to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles, before heading to Atlanta, Georgia to face the Georgia St. Panthers on Saturday.

Louisiana is currently 10-3, overall, and 3-1 in league play.

That conference mark puts the Cajuns in a second place tie with Troy, one game behind first place Arkansas St.

Games on Thursday will feature Louisiana at Little Rock (4 pm), Texas St. at South Alabama (11 am), ULM at Georgia St. (4 pm), UT-Arlington at Troy (5:15 pm), and Appalachian St. at Little Rock (5:15 pm).

Saturday games will feature Louisiana at Georgia St. (11 am), ULM at Georgia Southern (1:30 pm), Texas St. at Troy (2 pm), UT-Arlington at South Alabama (2 pm), and Appalachian St. at Arkansas St. (3 pm).

Arkansas St. is currently atop the conference standings, at 4-0, followed by Louisiana and Troy at 3-1, Texas St. and UT-Arlington at 2-1, Appalachian St. and Little Rock at 2-2, and Georgia St., South Alabama, and Georgia Southern at 1-3, while ULM is 0-4..

Overall, Louisiana and Arkansas St. are both 10-3, while Troy is 8-5, and Texas St. and UT-Arlington are both 7-6.

Those five teams are over the .500 mark.

Teams that are under the .500 mark include Georgia St. and ULM, who are both 6-7, Appalachian St. and South Alabama, who are both 5-8, and Little Rock and Georgia Southern, who are both 4-9.
