Still about two weeks away from the start of the heart of conference play, Sun Belt Conference teams will be involved in nine non-conference games over the weekend.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns, following their 71-52 victory over the ULM Warhawks back on December 3, lead the conference standings, at 1-0, while ULM is 0-1.

No other team in the league has yet to play a conference game.

This weekend, there are 9 non-conference games on the schedule, including 1 on Friday, 4 on Saturday, and 4 more on Sunday.

On Friday, Troy will hit the road to take on UAB.

On Saturday, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns travel to Ruston, La. to take on Louisiana Tech, while UTA visits Houston Baptist, ULM hosts LSU-Alexandria, and South Alabama visits Gran Canyon.

On Sunday, Georgia Southern is at Stetson, while Appalachian St. hosts Furman, Georgia St. host Behune-Cookman, and Little Rock hosts Missouri St.

The Cajuns have the best overall record in the conference, at 7-1, followed by Arkansas St., who is currently 6-2, while ULM and Texas St. are both 5-4, and Troy is 4-3.

Thos are the only teams that are over the .500 mark right now, as Georgia Southern is 3-3, Georgia St. is 3-4, South Alabama and UTA are both 3-5, Little Rock is 2-5, and Appalachian St. is currently 1-6.
