Still about three weeks away from the start of the heart of conference play, Sun Belt Conference teams will be involved in eight non-conference games over the weekend.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns, following their 71-52 victory over the ULM Warhawks on Thursday night of last week, lead the conference standings, at 1-0, while ULM is 0-1.

No other team in the league has yet to play a conference game.

This weekend, there are 8 non-conference games on the schedule, including 4 on Saturday, and 4 more on Sunday.

On Saturday, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will play host to the Dillard Bleu Devils, while Appalachian St. visits North Carolina, Arkansas St. entertains Alcorn St., and ULM plays host to Nicholls St.

On Sunday, Little Rock hosts Tulsa, while UTA plays host to WKU, South Alabama welcomes UAB, and Texas St. hosts Texas A$M-Commerce.

The Cajuns have the best overall record in the conference, at 5-1, followed by Arkansas St., who is currently 4-2, while ULM is currently 4-3.

Thos are the only three teams that are over the .500 mark right now, as Troy is 3-3, Georgia St., Texas St., and UTA are all 3-4, Georgia Southern is 2-3, Little Rock and South Alabama are both 2-4, while Appalachian St. is currently 1-5.
