The Arkansas St. Red Wolves, following a win in their only game last week, remain the only unbeaten Sun Belt Conference women’s basketball team, in terms of league games.

Arkansas St. defeated Appalachian St., 83-60, last Saturday, improving their current win streak to five games, including wins in 7 of their last 8, and are now 11-3, overall, and 5-0 in league play.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns and the Troy Trojans are currently tied for second place, both with identical 5-1 records.

Louisiana scored two big road wins last week, defeating Georgia Southern on Thursday night, 56-39, before downing Georgia St. 77-57, on Saturday.

The Cajuns, who are now 12-3, overall, now return home for five straight, and will also play 7 of their next 8 games at home.

Troy ran their win streak to five games last week, capturing home wins over UT-Arlington (88-71) and Texas St. (112-79), to move to 10-5 on the season.

Texas St. and Little Rock are tied for fourth place, at 3-2. Texas St. split a pair of road games last week, defeating South Alabama, 73-71, before falling to Troy, 112-79, while Little Rock won their only game last week, a 67-50 triumph over Appalachian St.

UT-Arlington is now in sixth place, at 2-3, after dropping two road games last week, to Troy (88-71) and  South Alabama (59-55).

Georgia St., South Alabama, and Appalachian St., are now is a three-way tie for seventh place, all at 2-4.

The Panthers recorded a 65-52 win over ULM last Thursday, before falling by 20 to Louisiana on Saturday, splitting their two games last week, while the Jaguars and the Mountaineers were both winless.

ULM and Georgia Southern are both 1-5 in league play, following a 50-49 by the Warhawks over the Eagles on Saturday, their first league victory of the season.
