Ten big Sun Belt Conference women's games are on tap this week, as the league will feature five games on Thursday, and five more on Saturday.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will begin a tough four-game road trip on Thursday, when they travel to Little Rock Arkansas, to take on the Little Rock Trojans, before heading the Jonesboro, Arkansas to face the Arkansas St. Red Wolves on Saturday.

To say that the two games are important would be an understatement, as the Cajuns will play the defending champions, before taking on one of two teams that are tied with them atop the conference standings, in a game which will feature the two teams with the best overall records in the league, so far.

Louisiana is currently 9-2, overall, and unbeaten in league play, at 2-0.

Games on Thursday will feature Louisiana at Little Rock (5:15 pm), Troy at Georgia St. (4 pm), UT-Arlington at Appalachian St. (4 pm), South Alabama at Georgia Southern (4 pm), and ULM at Arkansas St. (5:05 pm).

Saturday games will feature Louisiana at Arkansas St. (3:05 pm), South Alabama at Georgia St. (11 am), Texas St. at Appalachian St. (noon), Troy at Georgia Southern (1:30 pm), and ULM at Little Rock (4 pm).

Louisiana, Arkansas St., and Texas St. are currently tied atop the conference standings, all at 2-0, while Troy, Georgia St., UT-Arlington, Appalachian St., and Little Rock are all 1-1, and ULM, South Alabama, and Georgia Southern are all 0-2.

Overall, Louisiana is 9-2, Arkansas St. is 8-3, Texas St. is 7-5, and ULM, Troy, and Georgia St. are all 6-5.

Those six teams are over the .500 mark, while UT-Arlington is at .500, with a 6-6 mark.
