Ten big Sun Belt Conference women’s games are on tap this week, as the league will feature five games on Thursday, and five more on Saturday.

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns open a five-game homestand on Thursday, when they play host to the South Alabama Jaguars, before entertaining the Troy Trojans on Saturday.

Louisiana, who has only played one conference home game, is currently 12-3, overall, and 5-1 in league play.

That conference mark puts the Cajuns in a second place tie with Troy, one game behind first place Arkansas St.

Games on Thursday will feature Louisiana hosting South Alabama (5 pm), Georgia St. at Appalachian St. (4 pm), Arkansas St. at UT-Arlington (5 pm), Troy at ULM (5:15 pm), and Little Rock at Texas St. (5:30 pm).

Saturday games will feature Louisiana hosting Troy (4 pm), Georgia Southern at Appalachian St. (noon), South Alabama at ULM (2 pm), Arkansas St. at Texas St. (2 pm), and Little Rock at UT-Arlington (5 pm).

Arkansas St. is currently atop the conference standings, at 6-0, followed by Louisiana and Troy at 5-1, Texas St. at 3-2, Little Rock at 3-3, UT-Arlington at 2-3, South Alabama and Appalachian St. at 2-4, and Georgia St. and Georgia Southern at 2-5, while ULM is 1-5.

Overall, Louisiana and Arkansas St. are both 12-3, while Troy is 10-5, and Texas St. is 8-7.

Those four teams are over the .500 mark.

Teams that are under the .500 mark include UT-Arlington and ULM, who are both 7-8, Georgia St., who is 7-9, South Alabama, who is 6-9, Little Rock and Appalachian St., who are both 5-10, and Georgia Southern, who is 5-11.
