Seven of the eight Sun Belt Conference softball teams are over the .500 mark as the 2014 season enters it's fourth weekend.

The 25th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, who went 3-2 in the NFCA Leadoff Classic last week in Clearwater, Florida, are 9-5-1 on the season, and will be in Gulfport, Mississippi this weekend, to take part in the Gulfport College Classic.

Louisiana, who leads the conference in home runs, with 26, will play UTSA and Baylor on Friday, Chattanooga and Ohio on Saturday, and Memphis on Sunday.

The 16th-ranked South Alabama Jaguars, who went 5-0 last week, including a win over nationally ranked Georgia, are now an impressive 11-1 on the season.

South Alabama, who leads the conference with a 1.40 ERA., will also be in Gulfport this weekend, where they will take on Ohio and Nicholls St. on Friday, UTSA and Baylor on Saturday, and Chattanooga on Sunday.

The Texas St. Bobcats went 4-2 last week, including a 3-2 record in the Texas Shootout, to move to 11-5 on the year.

Texas St., who is seventh in the league in hitting (.255) and fourth in ERA. (2.40), will be the third Sun Belt Conference school to play in Gulfport this weekend, squaring off with Memphis on Friday, Ohio and Baylor on Saturday, and Nicholls St. and Mississippi St. on Sunday.

The ULM Warhawks continue to impress, after going 5-1 in the Warhawk Classic last weekend, to improve to 12-4.

ULM, who leads the conference in hitting (.342), runs scored (121), and stolen bases (59), will play in the Texas Tournament in Austin, Texas this weekend, where they will play Texas Southern and Texas on Friday, Southern Miss and Texas on Saturday, and Southern Miss on Sunday.

The WKU Lady Toppers are fresh off a 4-0 weekend in the Hilltopper Spring Fling, to improve to 9-4-1 on the season.

WKU, who have made only six errors all season, the fewest in the league, will host the Hilltopper Spring Classic this weekend, where they will face Green Bay and Northern Iowa on Friday, Indiana St. and Wright St. on Saturday, and IUPUI on Sunday.

The UT-Arlington Mavericks went 4-2 in the UTA Hilton Invitational last weekend, and now stand at 10-6, overall.

UT-Arlington, who is fourth in the conference in hitting (.274) and and fifth in ERA. (2.84), will travel to Tucson, Arizona this weekend for the Wildcat Invitational, where they will play Longwood and Indiana on Friday, Arizona and Iowa on Saturday, and Valparaiso on Sunday.

The Georgia St. Panthers went 2-3 at the Georgia Tech-Kennesaw St. Invitational last weekend, and now stand at 6-4 on the year.

Georgia St., who is second in the league in hitting, at a .311, will take part in the USF Under Armoour Invitational this weekend, where they will meet St. Bonaventure and Central Connecticut St. on Friday, Quinnipiac and Stanford on Saturday, and Western Michigan on Sunday.

The Troy Trojans, the lone team in the league under .500, went 1-3 in the Lipton Invitational in Gainesville, Florida last weekend, and are now 5-8-1.

Troy, who, is second in the league in team .ERA, at 2.19, will take part in the Eagle Classic in Statesboro, Georgia this weekend, where they will meet Middle Tennessee and Georgia Southern on Friday, Tennessee St. and Georgia Southern on Saturday, and Middle Tennessee on Sunday.
