The field for the 2012 Sun Belt Conference Championship, which will be held in Boca Raton, Florida from Wednesday, May 9-Saturday May 12, is set.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, who won the regular season title, are the top-seed for the fifth-consecutive year, and the 12th time in the 13-year history of the tournament.

The regular season champion has won the tournament every year.

Louisiana finished their regular season with an overall mark of 46-3, and a league mark of 21-3.

The Cajuns will begin their quest for another tournament title on Wednesday, when they take on the eight-seed FAU Owls, who comes into the tourney with an overall record of 15-37, and a league mark of 5-18. FAU is  the host school of the event.

First-pitch is scheduled for 5:30 (cdt), but there are three game prior to that match-up.

Play begins at 10 am (cdt) on Wednesday, with #3-seed FIU taking on #6-seed Troy.

That game will be followed by #2-seed South Alabama tangling with #7-seed ULM at 12:30 pm.

At 3 o'clock, #4-seed North Texas will face #5-seed WKU.

The tournament features a double-elimination format, with the exception of the championship game, which will be held on Saturday, May 12, at 3:05 pm (cdt).
