Sun Belt Basketball Tournament Moving to New Orleans

The Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament next month will be the last one in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

The league announced today the tournament will move to Lakefront Arena in New Orleans for a three year term beginning in 2014.  Lakefront Arena also hosted the 2002 tournament.

Hot Springs has been the venue for the last five tournaments, including this year.

The move has been rumored since Karl Benson was introduced as the Sun Belt Commissioner nearly a year ago.
