Sun Belt Announces Louisiana’s 2016 Conference Opponents

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team now knows where they will be traveling and who they will be hosting in Sun Belt Conference play next season.

The Sun Belt unveiled the 2016 conference matchups. While the dates of the matchups have not been determined yet, Cajun fans can decide which road trips they may decide to join.

Louisiana will travel to ULM, Texas State, Georgia Southern and New Mexico State, while hosting Sun Belt conference foes Idaho, South Alabama, Appalachian State and Arkansas State.

The four non-conference games for UL have been scheduled for awhile. They include a season opener at home on September 3rd against Boise State, a September 10th showdown at Cajun Field versus McNeese State, a road game in New Orleans on October 8th at Tulane, and a matchup in Athens, Georgia versus the Georgia Bulldogs on November 19th.
