Well, I've heard of teams preparing for road games by pumping in loud crowd noise into their practices.

I've even heard of teams that purposely wet their practice fields, or bring in big fans that generate heavy winds, to simulate projected weather conditions.

But Washington coach Steve Sarkisian has gone just a little bit further, as his Huskies prepare to take on the LSU Tigers, on Saturday night in Baton Rouge.

For Tuesday’s practice, Sarkisian brought in a live, caged tiger to represent Mike the Tiger, which opposing teams must walk by at  Tiger Stadium.

This tiger is named Sheena, as disclosed on Sarkisian's twitter acount.

I'm sure this is just a kind of motivational tool, but it's still a first.
