One of the many negative headlines from the New Orleans Saints 2012 offseason was an alleged wiretapping accusation against Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis. The erroneous report from ESPN's Outside The Lines back in April suggested that Loomis wired his press box so opposing coaches' radio communications could be intercepted.

From the initial accusation, Loomis and the Saints described the report as "1000% false."

Today, Louisiana State Police Col. Mike Edmonson stated the following in an AP report: "This has been an intensive investigation, and after numerous interviews we have determined that there is no evidence that state laws have been violated."
